What steps would you take to help make your teams more effective?

To begin with, I will go through the scope of the project and get familiar with the project scope. I will meet with the current project manager, and the team involved to know the actual status of the project. I will compare the situation with the expected project baseline. I will create a stress-free atmosphere while motivating the team.
In addition, I will create a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) with the deadline assigned for the remaining work and give them to the team working on the project.
Furthermore, I will conduct daily scrum meetings with the entire team to monitor the project's status and whether it is on schedule per the milestones created. I will assist the team if the team is stuck in pending issues. I will make sure that any conflict between team members is prevented.
