Railway Recruitment Board

RRB's full form refers to the Railway Recruitment Board. Railway Recruitment Control Board is a division of the Ministry of Railways responsible for overseeing the RRB.

Once known as the Railway Service Commission, the Railway Recruitment Board was formally founded that year. The Railway Service Commission rechristened the Railway Recruitment Board in 1985.

Assistant Loco Pilot, Non-technical and popular category, Group C/Group D, and other vacancies in departments and offices of the Indian railways are filled through the Railway Recruiting Board's various recruitment examinations.
