Popular Front of India
PFI full form is Popular Front of India and it is a political organization for Indian Muslims. This organization is involved in exclusivist and radical ways that supports Muslim minority politics. This organization is basically created to counter the Hindutva groups.
In 2006, PFI started in Kerala as a successful organization for National Development. Later they collaborated with one of the organizations in Karnataka, then in Tamil Nadu, then in Goa in the year 2009, and so on. This way the PFI organization created its place in every state of India. This organization usually gets accused of its involvement in anti-social and anti-national activities. On 28 September 2022, this organization was banned by the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs under the act of "Unlawful Activities" for five years.
