Combined Defence Services
CDS full form is Combined Defense Services. The Combined Defense Services Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission or UPSC twice a year in the month of April, and September in search of young unmarried commissioned officers in the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Officers Training Academy (OTA). The notifications of the examination usually come in the months of May, and December every year. To clear this exam, a student must have knowledge of English, Mathematics, and General Awareness. For the OTA entry, only knowledge of English, and General Awareness is required.
