Central Board of Secondary Education

CBSE full form stands for Central Board of Secondary Education. It is a national educational board of management and controls the Indian public and private schools under the guidance of the Government of India. The board was established in 1929 by the Government of India, constituted in 1952, and re-constituted on 1 July 1962 to manage the study curriculum of schools and institutions throughout the nation. It provides Affiliations to more than 27,000 schools across India. Its headquarter is located in the national capital New Delhi, India. After COVID, the board canceled the 10th class exam and postponed the 12th class exam throughout India. Under the National Education Policy, new amendments and subjects were added to the syllabus for the students to expand their knowledge sphere.
