Automated System Recovery

The full form of ASR is an Automated System Recovery. It is a feature that was first founded by Microsoft for Windows XP operating system where it is used to recover the boot volume or computer system. It contains two parts: an automated backup or an automated restore. It only backups necessary data for restoring the system configuration state. Moreover, the Backup utility under the system tools is the main accessing point of the backup portion. It only backs up the necessary data to restore the system configuration state. One of the most effective ways of using ASR is as last resort.
