Anandabazar Patrika news is the full form of ABP. It is an Indian Bengali language newspaper owned by the ABP group. At first, it was a Bengali newspaper published in 1876 by Tushar Kanti Ghosh and his father Sasir Kumar Ghosh but soon the newspaper died. Later in 1922 the newspaper Anandabazar Patrika was relaunched by proprietor Suresh Chandra Majumdar and editor Prafulla Kumar Sarkar as a four-page evening daily and was first printed on 13 March 1922 under their own which was against British rule. E-edition was launched in 2001. In 2010 time Inc. entered into a license agreement with the ABP group to publish Fortune India magazine.
