Q1. What is good customer service?
Answer

Q3. What would you do if your replacement doesn't show up?

A good reply would be: Sir, I will immediately display a message in front of the window telling the customer's that the machine is broken, it would be great if you can use another mode of payment. Correspondingly, I will contact the technical team to fix the issue and inform the manager about the situation.

Answer

They want to know how experienced you are. Working in different types of retail stores gives great exposure in the industry. If you have worked with big brands, tell them. Explain your daily routine and also tell them about your role in each of the retail stores you worked in. This will help them in judging you whether the working conditions relate to you or not.

Q6. What would you do if, while you were helping a customer, a second customer approached you and asked for your assistance?

Well sir it will depend on the type of help the second customer is seeking. If it's a small query, I will tell them right away and apologize to the current customer for the inconvenience caused and continue with our discussion. If the second customer needs full-time assistance, I will ask my other colleague's help to attend to the new customer.

Q7. Do you believe the customer is always right? Why or why not?

Sir, I believe that the customer is always right either genuinely or in their minds. A business that puts customer needs first always blooms. Disagreeing with a customer will ultimately lead to an argument which will make them lose their interest in our product.

Q8. What was the management structure in your previous retail sales jobs?
Answer

The idea for asking this question for the interviewer is to know "How deep have you understood the business". Do share it with the interviewer about the management structure in your previous organization and also showcase your knowledge in terms of the business.

Answer

Q10. How would you respond if a customer is rude to a coworker?
Answer

I will try to calm the customer and coworker as well, depending on the situation. And, then apologize for the inconvenience caused to them. I will listen to the problem from both sides and will look for the best possible solutions to solve that problem with my coworker.
