How to create a role in Jira?

A new project role can be generated by the following steps:-

• Click on the JIRA icon > JIRA settings > System
• Under the SECURITY, select Project roles. The Project Role Browser will display which includes a list of all the project roles in the JIRA site.
• Now under the Add Project Role at the bottom of the page, enter your role's name and a description
• Click the Add Project Role button.
