There are two ways to restore lost data in salesforce, but both depending on different situations.

1. When the data is deleted and moved to the recycle bin. Simply go to the CRM homepage. Click on "Recycle Bin" and select "All Recycle Bin." Find your deleted records and press the undelete button.

2. When it is also deleted from the recycle bin. The data in this situation cannot be recovered but can be accessed from the workbench. Select the "Include" radio button under the "Deleted and archived records" statement. Locate the id of the record and choose the "Undelete" option from the drop-down menu.
