Explain the layers of the OSI reference model

OSI means Open System Interconnection. The model transmits data between the sender and receiver across the nations. It Includes 7 layers:

• Physical Layer
• Data Link Layer
• Network Layer
• Transport Layer
• Session Layer
• Presentation Layer
• Application layer

The Physical, Data Link, and Network Layers are the hardware layers.

The transport Layer is responsible for the End-to-End delivery of data from the Network Layer to the Application Layer. The Session, Presentation, and Application Layers are the software layers.
